UBS is hiring a CA Intern in Pune within its Group Functions and Treasury reporting team. The role focuses on financial reporting and analytics for Group and Regional Treasury, supporting management reporting and decision-making.
The position involves preparing and analyzing financial information, Treasury reporting packs, financial statements and other reports, while supporting controls, regulatory compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality financial reporting and analytics for Group and Legal Entities.
- Compile and analyze financial information for Group and Regional Treasury.
- Prepare monthly Group Treasury and Regional Treasury reporting packs.
- Support reporting used for ALCO and senior management meetings.
- Prepare financial statements and other financial reports.
- Support reporting provided to regulators and senior stakeholders.
- Collaborate on continuous improvement of financial controls.
- Improve the quality, efficiency and effectiveness of reporting processes.
- Confirm compliance with applicable policies and regulatory requirements.
- Support accurate, timely and consistent financial reporting.

Eligibility

Qualification: Higher Accounting degree or professional qualification (e.g., CA Inter / Final).

Core Knowledge: Understanding of bank balance sheets. Knowledge of liquidity, funding or capital adequacy concepts is required. Exposure to risk management, regulatory compliance and financial reporting.

Technical Proficiency: Strong MS Office knowledge, particularly Excel, Word and MS Access. Exposure to Power BI, Alteryx and Python is an added advantage.

Soft Skills: Strong analytical and attention-to-detail skills. Collaborative working style and effective communication skills.
