Job Overview
Qualcomm is hiring 2027 Campus Hire Associate Engineers – Software for its Engineering Group. The role offers opportunities to work on software for Qualcomm's mobile chipsets and connected technologies across locations including Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai, and Noida.
Campus hires may work across embedded software, device drivers, Android/Linux, multimedia, wireless modem technologies, connectivity, kernel development, BSP, communication protocols, and application software.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop real-time embedded software and device drivers.
- Work on mobile software for Android, Windows, or Linux platforms.
- Apply operating system concepts and data structures to solve engineering challenges.
- Develop software using C/C++ and object-oriented programming.
- Work with wireless technologies and communication standards.
- Develop Linux drivers and kernel-level software.
- Work with protocols such as TCP, UDP, IP, SIP, and RTP.
- Contribute to multimedia technologies including audio, video, and imaging algorithms.
- Develop software and firmware for wireless modem and connectivity platforms.
- Contribute to kernel, Board Support Package (BSP), and device-driver development.
- Develop application software, UI components, and software architecture for embedded devices.

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (e.g., Computer Science Engineering, Communication Engineering, ECE).
