Interns will gain hands-on experience in software development for Qualcomm's mobile chipsets and cutting-edge technologies. The scope of work spans across embedded systems, Android, Linux, wireless connectivity, multimedia, device drivers, and IoT engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop real-time embedded software and device drivers.
- Work on Android, Linux, or Windows-based software platforms.
- Apply knowledge of operating systems and data structures to solve complex challenges.
- Develop performant software using C/C++ and object-oriented programming methodologies.
- Assist with Linux/UNIX development, Linux driver configuration, and kernel optimizations.
- Support software development for wireless modem and connectivity technologies.
- Work with core communication protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, SIP, and RTP.
- Contribute to multimedia technology advancements, including audio, video, and image processing.
- Participate heavily in software architecture, development, testing, and debugging.
- Collaborate effectively within diverse engineering teams on ongoing software projects.
