Optum is hiring a Business Process Analyst in Gurgaon to analyze and report on pay-for-performance incentive outcomes in a high-volume, regulated environment. The role focuses on identifying data trends and root causes, improving processes, validating incentive data, and generating actionable insights.
The position involves working with program consultants, developers, and business stakeholders to resolve data and process issues. The analyst will also support reporting, process execution, documentation, training, audit, compliance, and remediation activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze incentive compensation processes for inefficiencies, defects, and standardization opportunities.
- Perform root cause analysis on data issues, payment discrepancies, and recurring errors.
- Recommend and support implementation of process improvements.
- Monitor process performance and identify trends requiring escalation or resolution.
- Partner with developers, consultants, and stakeholders on process analysis and solution validation.
- Validate monthly and quarterly incentive data for accuracy and completeness.
- Develop reports highlighting trends, anomalies, and performance insights.
- Translate analytical findings into actionable recommendations.
- Resolve data and process-related inquiries with business stakeholders.
- Execute core incentive processes accurately and on time while maintaining documentation.

Experience Requirement: Minimum 1 year of HR or Compensation experience, and 2+ years of customer-facing written communication experience.

Qualification: Graduate degree required.

Core Skills: Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (data manipulation, pivot tables, analysis). Experience analyzing datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and root causes.

Soft Skills: Strong critical-thinking, problem-solving, organizational, and prioritization skills. Ability to manage work independently.

Preferred Experience: Experience with incentive compensation processes, ICM tools (Varicent), reporting/dashboards, and process mapping/Lean concepts.
