Microsoft is hiring Software Engineers for its Core AI MaaS & Responsible AI Platform team in Bengaluru.

This role focuses on building and scaling large-scale distributed systems for Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) on Azure AI platforms.

About the Team

The Core AI MaaS & Responsible Platform (RP) Team builds and operates industry-leading GenAI and LLM infrastructure at massive scale.

  • Scaling inferencing cloud for Azure OpenAI (AOAI).
  • Expanding Model-as-a-Service (MaaS) offerings.
  • Supporting multiple AI model providers and delivering unified experiences.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable, distributed systems for AI platforms.
  • Develop extensible, maintainable, and high-quality code.
  • Lead architecture discussions and validate design hypotheses.
  • Apply debugging tools, analyze logs, and resolve complex issues.
  • Contribute to AI/GenAI platform scalability and reliability.
