Mastercard is hiring a Software Engineer - Full Stack in Pune to design, build, test, deploy, and support secure, scalable, and highly available payment-network solutions.
The role combines backend and frontend development, with a strong focus on Java, Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs, Kafka, event-driven architecture, and Angular. The engineer will also work on cloud-native development, CI/CD, observability, automation, testing, and resilient software design.

Key Responsibilities

Build Java and Spring Boot microservices, REST APIs, and Kafka-based event-driven integrations.

Develop responsive frontend user experiences using Angular and Micro Front End architecture.

Convert Figma designs into reusable, accessible Angular components and integrate them with secure backend APIs.

Apply object-oriented design, SOLID principles, and secure coding practices while creating unit, component, integration, and regression tests.

Troubleshoot production issues and actively contribute to CI/CD pipelines, observability, cloud-native engineering, and operational readiness.
