Job Overview
KPMG Global Services (KGS) is hiring candidates for the role of Associate Consultant – HR M&A in Mumbai, India.

The role is part of KPMG’s Deal Advisory function and focuses on supporting people-related aspects of M&A transactions.

Roles & Responsibilities

Support and help lead HR-related M&A projects across global programs, working on integration and separation (I&S) workstreams.

Analyze workforce data, apply analytical tools, and generate actionable insights to solve complex people and organizational challenges.

Support HR aspects in deal contexts, including labor relations, talent management, employee experience, and Day 1 communication planning.

Coordinate with onshore engagement teams and cross-functional partners to ensure successful project execution and delivery.

Assist in preparing project deliverables, business proposals, and provide guidance and mentoring to junior team members.
Eligibility Criteria
Education
MBA in Human Resources or related field. Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution (HR specialization preferred).
Experience
1–3 years of total work experience in HR consulting, workforce analytics, or organization effectiveness.
Technical & Core Competence
Experience with workforce analytics, people-related data analysis, and organization design. Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, and Alteryx. Exposure to M&A projects, Big 4 consulting, or large-scale transformation projects is highly beneficial.
