Key Responsibilities
As an Associate within JPMorganChase's External Reporting function, you will support financial statements, management reporting, and regulatory submissions while maintaining a strong control environment:
1. Quarterly Financial Data & Variance Analysis
- Apply current product, industry, and market knowledge to specialized reporting activities.
- Consolidate, review, and analyze quarterly financial data for accuracy and completeness.
- Perform quarter-over-quarter variance analysis, investigate discrepancies, and assess reporting issues.
2. Regulatory Filings & SEC Reconciliations
- Participate in preparing, reviewing, and filing monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual regulatory reports.
- Reconcile regulatory filings with SEC filings and other published financial reports, including Form 10-Q, Form 10-K, Call Reports, FR Y-9C, and Pillar III disclosures.
- Interpret regulatory and SEC reporting requirements and coordinate internal and external policies.
3. Reporting Controls, Governance & Stakeholder Coordination
- Coordinate data collection and quarterly business results with business units, Regulatory Controllers, and reporting teams.
- Follow reporting controls, proof procedures, and edit checks to maintain the integrity of financial results and ensure accurate submissions to regulatory authorities.
- Build relationships with business teams and regulatory stakeholders, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on reporting accuracy and data quality.

Eligibility, Schedule & Compensation

Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.

Experience Required: At least 3 years of experience in a Finance organization with exposure to accounting, financial statements, product/financial control, or regulatory reporting (Not a fresher role).

Work Location & Shift: Parcel 9, Embassy Tech Village, Outer Ring Road, Devarabeesanahalli Village, Varthur Hobli, Bengaluru – 560103 (Full-time, Day shift).

Estimated Salary: ₹6–10 LPA (unofficial third-party Glassdoor estimate for this title in Bengaluru, approx. ₹50,000–₹83,300/month gross; broader Associate market estimates range up to ₹12–20 LPA depending on grade and experience).
