IDFC FIRST Bank is hiring a Data Analyst – Collections in Mumbai, Maharashtra, for its Data & Analytics function under the Retail Assets category. This opportunity is suitable for candidates with 2–5 years of relevant experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or related fields.
In this role, you will collaborate with Senior Analysts and Lead Analysts to identify analytical opportunities, translate business requirements into actionable insights, and develop data-driven tools. You will also work on data preparation, statistical analysis, visualization, business performance reporting, and testing analytical solutions to support informed decision-making and operational improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Business Requirements and Analytical Planning
- Identify and scope business requirements and priorities through structured data analysis and stakeholder engagement.
- Design and apply analytics techniques to address current and future business needs.
- Understand business objectives and translate them into actionable analytical requirements.
- Map analytical frameworks to available data sources to ensure alignment with business goals.
Data Collection and Preparation
- Collect, clean, and organize data from multiple sources ensuring accuracy.
- Understand the relationship between available data sources and business requirements.
- Prepare data for statistical analysis, reporting, and visualization.
Statistical Analysis and Data Visualization
- Conduct statistical analysis to identify relevant trends and patterns.
- Create visualizations that communicate findings clearly and effectively.
- Support business performance monitoring through regular reports and ad-hoc analysis.
Analytical Tools and Business Insights
- Contribute to the development and deployment of analytical tools.
- Develop test strategies and systematic procedures to validate solution performance and accuracy.
- Develop creative, data-driven solutions to business problems and support operational efficiency.

Eligibility
