Job Overview
Deutsche Bank is hiring a Financial and Regulatory Reporting Analyst for its Business Finance (NCT) team in Pune, India.
This role focuses on financial reporting, P&L analysis, and regulatory compliance within a dynamic investment banking environment. As an Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, analyzing profit and loss drivers, and supporting business stakeholders with actionable insights.

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform daily P&L production, attribution, and analysis (T+1 reporting) to deliver timely and accurate financial insights.

Provide comprehensive variance analysis and meaningful commentary to senior stakeholders, identifying key performance drivers.

Investigate and resolve discrepancies such as model vs actual reporting and trade mismatches efficiently.

Collaborate intimately with front office, finance, and risk teams to understand trade flows and complex booking structures.

Ensure strict compliance with financial controls and risk guidelines while supporting financial disclosures and accounting processes.
Eligibility Criteria
Education
MBA / Chartered Accountant (CA) / CPA / ACCA / CFA / CIMA or a similarly recognized professional qualification.
Experience
2–5+ years of experience in financial control, product control, or investment banking finance, with strong exposure to P&L reporting.
Technical & Core Competence
Strong understanding of financial market products (Bonds, Derivatives, Equities, Swaps) and Fixed Income products (CDS, IRS, TRS, Loans). Deep knowledge of IFRS / GAAP accounting standards and front-to-back investment banking processes.
