Job Overview
Citi is hiring Young Apprentices to join its Finance Team in Mumbai. The 12-month apprenticeship provides on-the-job training and hands-on exposure to Citi's financial operations while working with one of its business groups.
Apprentices may gain exposure to Controllers and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) functions, including financial reporting, reconciliations, controls, regulatory reporting, financial analysis, forecasting, and management decision support.
Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day activities within Citi's Finance teams.
- Work on assigned deliverables during the 12-month apprenticeship.
- Analyze financial data and identify meaningful trends and insights.
- Support financial reporting and control-related activities.
- Gain exposure to balance sheet integrity and reconciliations.
- Support FP&A activities and forward-looking financial analysis.
- Assist with forecasting and business performance analysis.
- Work with financial information used for management decision-making.
- Participate in process improvement, automation, and transformation initiatives.
- Collaborate with Finance and other business teams.
- Maintain high standards of accuracy, integrity, and control.
- Adapt to a dynamic, global working environment.

Eligibility

Qualification: CA + Bachelor’s Degree. Must not have an ESIC/EPF account.

Experience Required: Fresher / No prior work experience required.

Core Skills: Good understanding of Corporate Finance and Accounting. Ability to analyze financial data and identify trends.

Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Office applications. Willingness to learn financial reporting, controls, and regulatory processes.

Soft Skills & Work Requirements: Strong analytical, problem-solving, written and verbal communication skills. Good collaboration and teamwork abilities. Ability to work in shifts as part of a global team and relocate domestically.
