Role Description & Responsibilities
The Applications Development Programmer Analyst will participate in developing and implementing new or revised application systems in coordination with the Technology team. Key responsibilities include:
- Identify and define system enhancements using application development concepts.
- Analyze technical issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Develop and improve business applications.
- Conduct software testing and debugging to ensure high code quality.
- Write code and scripts based on design specifications.
- Evaluate application development options when standard procedures do not cover a situation.
- Develop working knowledge of enterprise information systems and technical processes.
- Follow coding standards, security policies, and applicable regulations.
- Assess and escalate technology, operational, and compliance risks.
- Collaborate with the Technology team to support application development and improvements.
