Job Overview
Barclays is hiring Analysts for its Finance division in Gurugram, India.
The company is looking for finance professionals with strong accounting knowledge, analytical capabilities, and financial reporting expertise to support business units with strategic financial planning and decision-making. In this role, you will analyze financial data, support financial close activities, develop financial models, and contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and risk management initiatives.
Roles & Responsibilities

Support strategic financial planning, budgeting, and comprehensive forecasting activities for key business units.

Analyze complex financial statements and business performance data to provide actionable insights for decision-making.

Develop robust financial models, conduct trend and ratio analysis, and assist heavily in the financial close process.

Prepare advanced financial presentations and reporting dashboards leveraging tools like Power BI, Alteryx, and Power Apps.

Collaborate globally with business units on finance strategies, ensure compliance, and proactively support risk management initiatives.
Eligibility Criteria
Education
CA Inter, MBA, Postgraduate Degree, or Graduate Degree in Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
Experience
Relevant experience in finance, accounting, or financial analysis. Prior exposure to financial close processes is highly preferred.
Deep understanding of accounting principles and financial statement analysis. Advanced expertise in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Financial Modelling. Proficiency with modern data tools like Power BI, Alteryx, and Power Apps is a strong advantage.
