Amazon is hiring for a Business Analyst Support – IN Supply Chain, Speed role in Bengaluru. The position supports speed improvement initiatives across India's fulfillment network by monitoring operational metrics, analyzing performance data, identifying bottlenecks, and coordinating corrective actions across fulfillment and transportation teams.
The role is suited for candidates with experience in data analytics or automation and strong skills in SQL, Excel, data visualization, statistical analysis, and business analysis. Candidates should be comfortable working with ambiguity, breaking complex problems into manageable components, and using data-driven insights to work with varied stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive daily execution of speed improvement initiatives across India's fulfillment network.
- Monitor 0D/1D/2D GVS metrics to support customer delivery promises.
- Coordinate with First Mile, Middle Mile, and Last Mile teams for program execution.
- Analyze root causes of speed degradation and delivery delays.
- Develop and execute corrective action plans for operational issues.
- Support capacity planning, resource allocation, and operations planning.
- Partner with fulfillment center operations, transportation, and planning teams.
- Generate performance reports, dashboards, and automated views for leadership review.
- Identify process improvement opportunities to reduce transit-time variability.
- Escalate critical operational issues to senior stakeholders utilizing data and facts.
- Analyze ambiguous problems and identify relevant data for business decision-making.

Eligibility

Experience Required: 1+ years of experience in data analytics or automation. Preferred 1+ years of experience in capacity planning, operations planning, or business analysis.

Qualification: Bachelor's degree required.

Core Tech Skills: Moderate or advanced knowledge of SQL and Excel. Experience with data pipelining, extraction using SQL, and ETL. Experience with data mining tools (SQL, SAS, SPSS) and visualization tools (QuickSight, Tableau).

Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills, process design, structured thinking, and the ability to break complex problems into smaller components.

Soft Skills: Ability to work with ambiguous problem statements. Stakeholder management skills. Ability to influence without authority using data and facts.
