Amazon is hiring a Business Analyst Support professional in Hyderabad to support analytical frameworks, Weekly Business Reviews (WBRs), reporting and business intelligence initiatives for its operations teams.
The role involves developing and maintaining queries, metrics, reports and dashboards, providing ad hoc data support, investigating reporting and BI issues, and identifying opportunities for automation and process improvement. The team supports DSP payments operations across North America, Europe and Japan.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance WBRs and existing analytical frameworks.
- Build reports, dashboards and analytical solutions.
- Handle dive-deep requests from stakeholders.
- Modify and enhance existing analytical frameworks.
- Provide ad hoc data support to operations stakeholders.
- Identify the root cause of reporting, BI and data issues.
- Draft solutions to resolve analytical and reporting problems.
- Design, develop and maintain queries, metrics, reports and analyses.
- Validate data to ensure accuracy.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to understand business requirements.
- Automate and enhance existing processes.
- Develop knowledge of emerging technologies and analytical techniques.
- Translate analytical frameworks and data insights into business outcomes.

Eligibility

Experience Required: 1+ year of data analytics, automation, capacity planning, operations planning, or business analysis experience.

Qualification: Bachelor's Degree.

Core Technical Skills: Moderate or advanced knowledge of SQL and Excel. Knowledge of data pipelining and extraction using SQL. Experience with data mining tools (SQL, SAS, SPSS or similar).

Preferred Skills: Python scripting, table joins, and aggregate analytical functions are preferred.
