Razorpay is hiring a Senior Executive, Finance for its Finance team in Bengaluru. The role focuses on financial reporting, group consolidation, financial statement preparation, and compliance with Ind AS/IFRS within a fintech environment.
The position is suitable for early-career finance professionals looking to build expertise in consolidation, month-end closing, statutory reporting, audits, intercompany eliminations, and financial controls. Articleship experience is considered for freshers.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing standalone and consolidated financial statements under Ind AS.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare journal entries, schedules, and account reconciliations.
- Perform intercompany eliminations and consolidation adjustments.
- Support minority interest calculations for group entities.
- Prepare supporting schedules for statutory and management reporting.
- Assist with statutory and tax audits, coordinating with external auditors.
- Ensure compliance with relevant Ind AS standards and regulatory requirements.
- Support preparation of board decks and investor reporting packs.
- Prepare MIS, management reports, and document accounting policies/controls.
- Collaborate with FP&A, Treasury, Compliance, and Product teams.

Eligibility

Experience Required: 0–4 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, consolidation, audit, or controllership. Freshers with Articleship experience are considered.

Qualification: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance. CA qualification is preferred.

Core Skills: Strong understanding of Ind AS/IFRS accounting standards and consolidation standards (Ind AS 110, 111, 112, 28).

Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in MS Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and financial modelling. Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP is a plus). Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or Alteryx is preferred.

Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, attention-to-detail, communication, and coordination skills. Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
