Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor application health, performance, and capacity across multi-region environments.
• Respond to production alerts, outages, and system anomalies; participate in on-call and rapid incident-response workflows.
• Troubleshoot application, system, network, database, and performance issues.
• Perform database query analysis, data verification, and performance tuning (PostgreSQL, Oracle DB, MySQL).
• Conduct root-cause analysis and implement permanent fixes.
• Build dashboards, log aggregation, and alerting solutions using Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, and Dynatrace.
• Track reliability metrics including SLIs and SLOs.
• Develop Python and Bash scripts to automate operational tasks and health checks.
• Support production deployments and CI/CD pipeline activities (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Maven, Gradle).
• Execute production change requests according to change-management standards.
• Use GenAI-assisted workflows for log analysis, incident documentation, and operational efficiency.

Skills & Technologies

Eligibility

• Experience Requirement: 1–2 years in Application Production Support, DevOps, Systems Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Qualification: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Systems & Core Tech: Solid understanding of Linux/Unix internals and system engineering concepts. Programming and debugging exposure in Java and Python. Familiarity with Maven and Gradle.
• Databases & Observability: Strong querying and troubleshooting skills with relational databases. Exposure to Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, Dynatrace, or similar observability platforms.
• DevOps & Troubleshooting: Experience with incident management, triage, and change/configuration management. Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts. Exposure to GenAI solutions.
• Preferred Experience: AI-assisted operations experience, Docker and Kubernetes knowledge, Public/private cloud experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure), and basic knowledge of Ansible or Terraform.
