Job Overview
Cognizant is hiring a Software Engineer / C Developer for a specialized role based directly at a Mumbai customer office. This is a fully onsite position, requiring work from the client office every working day. WFH and hybrid work models are not available for this role.
The position focuses extensively on C and Linux development, with strong technical requirements surrounding pointers, inter-process communication (IPC), multithreading, multiprocessing, socket programming, data structures, and debugging. Exposure to trading systems, low-latency code, or real-time applications will be considered an added advantage.
