Aditya Birla Housing Finance Limited is hiring a Data Analyst for its Analytics department in Thane, Maharashtra. The role focuses on extracting and processing data, developing analytical solutions, building dashboards, and generating insights to support business decisions.
The Data Analyst will collaborate with different teams to collect business data, perform timely analysis, and prepare reports that support business planning and decision-making. Candidates should have hands-on experience with Python, advanced SQL, and Power BI. Experience in credit risk analytics, retail lending, or statistical and machine learning models is beneficial.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis and Business Insights
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect business data and complete analysis and reporting.
- Extract, process, clean, and validate data used for analysis.
- Develop analytical solutions to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of business processes.
- Generate qualitative and quantitative insights to support business recommendations.
- Identify industry trends and evaluate their impact on business strategy.
Python Programming and Analytics
- Use Python to develop data-processing and analytical solutions.
- Work with libraries such as NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, and Matplotlib.
- Apply data structures and algorithms to solve business problems.
- Explore statistical and Machine Learning techniques where relevant.
Power BI, SQL and Database Management
- Develop advanced Power BI dashboards, reports, and interactive visualisations.
- Integrate data from different sources to support business analysis.
- Write advanced SQL queries to extract and analyse data from relational databases.
- Support data modelling and ensure data integrity and accuracy throughout the analysis process.

Desirable Competencies
- TensorFlow or Keras, Statistical Modelling, and Machine Learning.
- Credit risk analytics, retail lending, or financial services experience.
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and data model development.
