Amazon is hiring candidates for the role of Financial Analyst I, FOAA Leases in Karnataka, India.

Roles & Responsibilities

Support month-end closing activities for multiple sub-ledgers, perform manual journal entries, and financial adjustments.

Prepare pre-reconciliations, complete monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations, and conduct balance sheet account analysis.

Ensure financial policies, procedures, and internal controls are followed while supporting management in reporting processes.

Contribute to process and systems development for efficiency improvements, particularly in fixed assets and lease-related operations.

Use data and financial analysis to support business decisions, maintaining reporting accuracy and compliance alongside global finance teams.
Eligibility Criteria
Education
Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
Experience
0–4 years of post-qualification experience in finance, accounting, month-end closing, and balance sheet reconciliation.
Technical & Core Competence
Strong understanding of financial accounting, reporting, sub-ledgers, and general ledger activities. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of SQL. Familiarity with Access, Oracle, Essbase, BlackLine, and VBA is beneficial.
